2013

  • May 8, 2013: Final Projects- Virtual Reality Projects and Games Presentations of COSC 729/ COSC 477 in Spring 2013 Semester. (Flyer)
  • April 10, 2013: Three research posters on VR research work were presented at the Grant Expo, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), Bowie State University.
  • February 28th - March 2nd, 2013: Titus Thomas Won Second Prize in the oral section under category:Computer Sciences and Information Systems at the ERN conference in STEM , Washington DC. Title: 3D Simulated Emergency Subway Evacuation.
  • February 28th - March 2nd, 2013: Six Research presentations at by VR Lab students at the ERN Conference (The Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Education and Human Resources Programs (EHR) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Human Resource Development (HRD), within the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR), Washington DC, February 28th - March 2nd, 2013.

  • February 23-25 2012: Aaron Boothe Won Second Prize in the oral section under category: Computer Sciences and Information Systems and Computer Engineering at the ERN conference, Atlanta, GA. Title: Multi‐User Environment in VR for Evacuation Scenarios Using Gaming Metaphor.
